Its not on,and its not there anymore because I clicked on windows firewall–as well as security center in control panel and it says WFsettings cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running.Then it says do I want to start the WF internet connection sharing wit ISC and when I click yes it denies me.Please some help here anyone.Thank you.

I have two computers(one ldesktop and one laptop). I use Windows vista with Comodo Firewall pro firewal on both. I find that it is hard to get something back into the trusted zone after you have it listed as untrusted. It seems to be complicated to configure. Is this the best free firewall to use or is there any better?

I just got a new laptop and it has vista on it, my old firewall doesn’t work on it and most of the others I’ve don’t work. What’s a really good firewall that works on vista?

I have been testing several versions of firewall, bitdefender, kaspersky, kerio, sunbelt, and some more. For now, I find that Bitdefender wins the gold medal, in my opinion. But still the antivirus within Bitdefender is not that powerful. I installed Avast 4 and tried to use only the firewall in bitdefender (disabling the antivirus of bitdefender) but conflicts happen between the two softwares when loading windows.

Do you people, know the best firewall please?
